PP Business Case + 2,500 signatures to present to Minister Hoenig
PP President, Simon Dunn has written to Minister Hoenig and our local MP, Jacqui Scruby requesting a meeting to present our Business Case and petition signatures collected from Pittwater electors. Together with last year's 4,067 signatures we've collected 6,500. This is approx 10% of Pittwater residents.

Given the resounding response from the community, (over 7,000 supporters) we are continuing our petition drive electronically to give as many Pittwater residents as possible the chance to be heard and demonstrate our collective will to reinstate Pittwater Council.

Protect Pittwater was established in 2017 by Pittwater residents dedicated to reinstating the former Pittwater Council. In 2016, despite being deemed Fit for Future, the coalition government forced Pittwater to amalgamate with Warringah and Manly Councils. Our core mission is to bring back Pittwater Council to ensure strong, independent representation for our community, achieve better fiscal results with less bureaucracy and foster the unique environmental and urban characteristics of Pittwater for residents and visitors alike. We are non-partisan.
